I can’t open the door to my flat.

What is an invitation code?

You receive an invitation code from your building administration when you move into your flat. It can only be used once and is valid for 48 hours for optimum security.

My invitation code isn’t working.

The invitation code is only valid for 48 hours for optimum security. If yours has expired, please contact your building administration. You’ll find the number in your resivo home app.

  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Contact us
Why do I have an inactive contract?

In order for you to use the resivo home app, your building administration must use resivo as their access system. When you move into your flat, your building administration will activate your lease and send you an invitation code.

How can I give other persons access to my flat?

You can send digital keys or add physical keys in the app. To add keys, click the large plus sign ""+"" at the bottom of the menu.

With digital as well as physical keys, you can limit access according to your needs.

How can I send digital keys?

You can send digital keys to a phone number any time. The recipient can use the key with the dormakaba Mobile Access app during the times you specify.

  1. In the lower menu, click "+" to add keys
  2. Give your key a name
  3. Enter the recipient’s telephone number (including country code)
  4. Click Send key
  5. The key is now active and shows up in your key list
  6. If you do not enter any limitations, the key will be valid from the moment you activate it until you either revoke it or change flats.

How and why do I scan physical keys?

You have received physical keys, for example a badge, from your building administration. You can add these in your app and limit the access, if desired.

  1. In the lower menu, click "+" to scan a key
  2. Hold the camera so that you can see the QR code of the key
  3. Click Add
  4. Give the key a name
  5. Add access limitations
  6. Click Generate key
  7. To activate the key, you have to update your door
  8. The key is now active and shows up in your key list
What are flatmates?

Flatmates are persons living in your household who also use the resivo home app.

I have lost a physical key. What now?

You can block the key at any time in your resivo home app.

  1. Open the resivo home app
  2. In the lower menu, click Keys
  3. Select the lost key from the list
  4. In the key details, scroll all the way down
  5. Click the Revoke button
  6. A pop-up appears. You must update your doors to delete the key.
  7. Update your doors
  8. The physical key now shows in your key list under inactive keys
I have lost my setup card.

You can still enter your flat with the existing keys and also send digital keys. However, you can no longer add, modify or delete physical keys.

If you lose your setup card, contact your building administration to ensure your flat remains secure! You’ll find the number in your resivo home app.

  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Contact us
I have a new smartphone – what do I need to do?

Install the resivo home app on your new smartphone and log in with your e-mail address and password. Once you have logged in, the identification files are automatically downloaded and you can use all the functions of the app.

My door lock blinks in an unusual way (e.g. red or several times in a row).

Please contact your building administration immediately. You’ll find the number in your resivo home app.

I have sent a key to a wrong number. What can I do?

You can revoke the key any time. Select the key in your key list and scroll down. Click the Revoke button.

What happens during a power outage or if the system isn’t working?

The electronic fitting or digital cylinder in your flat door has a battery that is checked regularly by your building administration. It lets you open your flat door with your smartphone or a physical key even during a power outage.

Does anyone besides me have access to my flat with the digital system?

Only persons to whom you have given access can enter your flat. Those with access authorisation are shown in the app under the menu item Access.

I have revoked a digital key but it is not set to inactive.

It may take a few moments until a digital key is set to inactive. If you are experiencing an emergency and want to deactivate the key immediately, you can do the following:

  1. Open the resivo home app
  2. Go to your key list
  3. Select the digital key that has the processing deactivation status
  4. Scroll down until you see the button Revoke manually
  5. Click the Revoke manually button
  6. You will now be prompted to update your door
  7. Update your door
  8. The digital key is now shown as inactive in your key list

Caution: The phone number of the owner of the digital key is now permanently blocked! Contact your building administration to reverse the block.

How can I let a new tenant move in?
A tenant is ready to move in when this icon appears in your flat list.
  1. Select the respective flat
  2. Check if you have added a setup card
  3. Are all doors there?
  4. Do you need to add keys?
  5. If everything looks good, you can press the Move in button at the bottom.
  6. Now follow the process to the end

How can I let a tenant move out?
  1. Select the flat in your utility app.
  2. Scroll all the way down
  3. Click the Move out button
  4. Now follow the process to the end

A tenant has lost a physical key (RFID medium).

If the tenant is using the resivo home app, they can remove the physical keys themselves.

If they are not using the resivo home app, proceed as follows:

  1. Log in to your resivo utility app
  2. Select the building
  3. Select the respective flat
  4. Delete the respective physical key from the list
  5. Update the doors (you will need the tenant’s setup card and must be physically present in the building)

The physical key was removed successfully.

A tenant has lost a setup card.

The tenant can still enter their flat with their existing physical or digital keys. However, they can no longer add, modify or delete physical keys, so it is advisable to take care of this right away. As a general rule, the door component must be completely reset to the original settings. Before you do, make sure that the tenant still has at least one authorised access medium. Make an appointment with a specialist partner to reset the door components to their original settings.

An access component on the door to a tenant’s flat is defective and needs to be replaced.
  1. Log in to your resivo utility app
  2. Select the building
  3. Select the respective flat
  4. Uncouple the defective door

Now you have to replace the access components (for example a c-lever pro) in the door. As soon as this is done, you can put the new door into operation. If the flat is leased, you will need the tenant’s setup card.

  1. Select the respective flat
  2. Select the door and couple it with the physical component
  3. Follow the process to put the door into operation
  4. After you have completed the process, you will see that the doors are marked with a blue icon in the flat list.

The replacement is successfully completed.

A tenant has ordered new keys.

If the tenant is using the resivo home app, you can send them their new keys for them to manage themselves.

If the tenant is not using the resivo home app, you can register the keys for them. To complete the process, you must receive the tenant’s setup card and be physically present in the building.

  1. Log in to your resivo utility app
  2. Select the building
  3. Select the respective flat
  4. Scroll down to Keys
  5. Click + to add a key
  6. Scan the keys (you can scan several)
  7. Add the keys
  8. Update the tenant’s door (setup card is needed and you must be physically present in the building)
  9. The new keys are now active for the flat door and the infrastructure doors (24/7)
I get an error message during the moving-in or moving-out process.

Completely close the resivo utility app on your smartphone and then restart it.

  1. Log in to your resivo utility app
  2. Select the building
  3. Now you should see a progress bar
  4. Select the respective flat
  5. Click Continue moving in/out at the bottom of the screen.

If the problem persists, please contact your dormakaba representative.

What do the symbols in the flat list mean?
The flat is leased, everything is set up correctly.

Whenever you want to update a door or put it into operation, the system checks if you are standing in front of the correct door. This is to prevent you from inadvertently configuring a wrong door.

If the app tells you that you are at the wrong door, the physical component was linked incorrectly.
You can delete the link (decoupling) and redo it (coupling) by selecting the door and then pressing the red button.

What do coupling and decoupling mean?

Coupling creates a link between a flat and an access component. Decoupling deletes that link. Coupling or decoupling does not impact access or the door’s configuration!
